Before enrolling in any of our stained glass classes, please review our class policies to ensure a smooth experience.

Beginning Stained Glass Class: Copper Foil Technique

Learn the fundamentals of stained glass artistry using the copper foil technique and walk away with a completed panel. This four-day class will help you gain a better understanding of basic stained glassworking tools. You'll also be taught how to cut glass, prepare your pieces, and assemble your project using the copper foil technique. Once it is assembled, you will also learn to finish, clean, and patina your project.
Our Beginning Stained Glass class includes the use of all necessary glassworking tools and accessories as well as the glass materials needed for your project. Students also get to keep the standard glass cutter, exacto knife, fid, and safety glasses that will be provided.

Class Requirements

  • No prior experience required.
  • Classes are limited to three students per session. (Seats will only be reserved if the student pre-pays before the class date.)

Intermediate Stained Glass Class: Lead Technique

Advance your skills by learning to construct windows using lead channels (or came). This stained glass class teaches you the complete lead came process, from basic construction and cementing to tips on design, reinforcement, and installation.
Our Intermediate Stained Glass class will only be supplied the pattern, lead, and finishing materials. Students must bring their own tools and purchase glass-related items, such as glass and bevels, beforehand for their project.

Class Requirements

  • Completion of the Beginning Stained Glass class or proof of BSG and glass cutting skills required.
  • Classes are limited to three students. (Seats will only be reserved if the student pre-pays before the class date.)
  • Students must bring their own tools and purchase glass, bevels, jewels, rondels, and any other glass-related items beforehand.

Class Details

  • Cost: $150 (2 Seats Left)
  • Session: 5-Week Class (Once a Week for 3 Hours)
  • Date: May 16th, 23rd, 30th, June 6th & 13th (Saturdays)
  • Time: 10a-1p

Basic Box Class

Learn the secrets of a well-made stained glass box in this fast-paced glassworking class. Students will be taught how to cut glass, foil, and solder to make a glass box with a simple hinge.
Our Basic Box class includes the use of glass equipment, such as cutters, foil, patina, and soldering irons, as well as the four bevels, mirror, and hinges used in the base of the box. Materials like lid glass, extra bevels, feet, chain, and other items incur extra charges.
